Blue Angels fly in to Lynchburg next week to finalize arrangements for 2016 air show

Lynchburg Regional Air ShowFrom the Lynchburg Regional Air Show: Wednesday, December 2nd at 4:00PM, two members of the U.S. Navy flight demonstration squadron the Blue Angels will be arriving in the #7 F/A-18 at the Lynchburg Regional Airport. They will depart Thursday, December 3rd at 11:00AM. They will be parking at Freedom Aviation at the General Aviation Terminal, 979 Airport Road. The purpose of their visit is to finalize arrangements for their participation in the 2016 Lynchburg Regional Airshow, May 21st & 22nd, 2016. The public is encouraged to welcome their arrival from the hill overlooking the runway, adjacent to the aircraft control tower. Overflow parking will be available.
