internet crimes task forceThe Bedford County Sheriff’s Office will likely receive more than $500,000 from the Virginia Attorney General’s Office. The Southern Virginia Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force will use a portion of the asset forfeiture grant to buy a mobile computer forensic lab. The technology allows instant evidence analysis on the scene. The lab will be based in Bedford County, but can be deploy elsewhere once investigators execute a search warrant.
