Identity of South Boston Lotto Winner Is Still Unknown

Virginia-Lottery-LogoSomeone you know may be millionaire! The owner of a winning lottery ticket for one million dollars sold locally is expected to come forward today. The New Year’s Eve winning ticket was sold at a South Boston convenience store. Virginia Lottery officials say three tickets matched the winning numbers drawn in the New Year’s Millionaire Raffle. One was sold at a 7-Eleven in Woodbridge and the other at an Exxon in Clearbrook. Another six ticket holders have won $25,000 each. Three hundred ticket holders each won $500. The local million dollar win purchased the ticket at the BP Apple Market on Halifax Road.
