Lynchburg Police: woman assaults Walmart employee, knocks doors off hinges while fleeing

From Lynchburg City police: On April 6, 2015, at approximately 3:55PM, an unidentified adult female attempted to steal general merchandise from the Walmart at 3900 Wards Rd. The female suspect was approached by a Loss Prevention Employee as she was leaving the store. The suspect initially came back in the store, but then ran back toward the exit doors and assaulted the store employee as she attempted to leave. While fleeing the store, the women ran into both the inner and outer set of sliding doors and knocked them both off of their hinges. She then left the parking lot in a blue four-door vehicle.  Anyone with information on the identity of the suspect pictured below is asked to contact Officer A. M.
