Man Suspected of Bomb Threats Will Remain in Jail

The Lynchburg man charged with making nearly two dozen bomb threats will not be released on bond. A judge ruled Monday unless Dexter Scott White is admitted to an inpatient mental health facility, he will stay incarcerated because prosecution worried White might be a danger to himself and the community. White is charged with 23 felony counts of threatening to bomb a building and one felony count of extortion in connection to a string of bomb threats called into local schools and a hospital between Feb. 25 and Feb. 27.
