Officials Encourage Calling the Water Resource Department Regarding Water Issues

Officials are encouraging Lynchburg residents experiencing discolored water this morning to contact the appropriate department. The Department of Water Resources in Lynchburg is responsible for water and waste treatment plants, the Pedlar Reservoir, water lines, storm sewers, sanitary sewers, and water meter reading. According to the City website, the department works to make sure that Lynchburg residents enjoy an uninterrupted supply of quality drinking water and reliable sewer service.
