Salvation Army Celebrating 35 Years of Angel Tree Program

salvation armyThe Salvation Army is gearing up to celebrate 35 years of its Angel Tree program. The Angel Tree program now in place nationwide, began in Lynchburg! Although Christmas may still be weeks away, the Salvation Army is already making sure no child awakes to find there is nothing under the tree. An event has been planned at River Ridge Mall at noon on November 15, with a performance by the National Capital Band and a talk with David Jeffrey, the National Commander of The Salvation Army.
