Sentence Suspended In Snowball Throwing Case

Throwing snowballs during a February snowstorm resulted in a Lynchburg man facing felony charges. Originally charged with unlawfully shooting or throwing objects at a vehicle, which is a Class 4 felony, Chrisean Ford was facing up to 10 years in jail and a $100,000 fine. Ford was accused of throwing a number of snowballs, damaging the plaintiff’s vehicle. He pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of destruction of property on Tuesday and received a 30-day suspended jail sentence. No word on whether he will be held responsible to pay for the damages.
