State Representative Remind Local Students of Upcoming STEM Challenge

STEM logoState, local and district officials are encouraging high school students in the Lynchburg region to participate in the House App Contest.  This spring marks the first annual Congressional Science, Technology, Engineering and Math –or-(STEM) Academic Competition, which was established by Members of the House of Representatives just last year. The competition allows high school students from across the country to compete by creating and exhibiting their software application, or “app,” for mobile, tablet, or computer devices on a platform of their choice. The deadline for submission is midnight on Wednesday, April 30.  To review the rules and guidelines, visit http://studentappchallenge.house.gov
