The Town of Pamplin Is Hoping To Be Included on the State’s “Most Endangered” Historic Sites List

The idea to apply, was suggested by officials from Preservation Virginia, a nonprofit organization dedicated to revitalizing Virginia’s sites, culture and heritage. The designation would help the town spread awareness and find possible grant sources in an effort to help preserve and restore 11 historic buildings. Pamplin is among 24 applicants hoping to make the list of endangered sites for 2014. The chosen locality is expected to be announced on May 12.
