Water-Sewer Fees Will Increase in Lynchburg

city lynchburg logoLynchburg City Council on Tuesday approved an increase to the water-sewer fees. Officials say the added revenue generated by the annual fee increases is needed to offset rising operating costs and improve aging infrastructure; and includes a 2 percent bump to the water rate and a rise in the monthly service charge levied against all accounts.
