Location options for a proposed shooting range will come before the Campbell County Board of Supervisors today. Supervisors will consider three possible sites selected by the public works committee following recently conducted engineering study. A shooting range that would be used for public safety training has been in the works for more than nine years; but was last discussed with all of the supervisors last December, when further research was suggested. Some neighboring agencies have expressed an interest in partnering with the county on the shooting range and corresponding facilities, depending on which site is selected. The meeting begins at 4 p.m. with public hearings starting at 5:30 p.m.
