Lynchburg Police have released surveillance photos of the Crown Fried Chicken robbery a week ago Sunday, pictures they hope might lead them to the suspect. The suspect is described as a black male, 5’9” to 6’ tall, thin build, and possibly in his 30’s.
Here is the earlier news release: On Sunday April 19, 2015 at 8:36pm, a robbery occurred at the Crown Fried Chicken, located at 1600 12th St. in the City of Lynchburg. An unknown black male entered the restaurant with his face covered and displayed a handgun and took an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect then fled the scene on foot and was last seen in the area of the 1100 blk. of Buchanan St.
