Lynchburg Community Action Group is offering free tax preparation services by appointment. The program is open to those who earned $58,000 or less last year. Appointments are available from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and during two Saturdays next month. Lyn-CAG also has a tax computer lab available for people who wish to electronically file their own taxes using the “Self-Assist Method – My Free Taxes. Lyn-CAG established in 1965, is a non-profit organization that provides a variety of services and programs for low- to moderate- income individuals and families in Central Virginia.
