City officials are encouraging the 1,400 residents who received a Lynchburg Citizen Survey to return it as soon as possible. The survey was mailed to a statistically valid number of households, 350 in each of the four wards. This year, residents also have the option to complete the survey online. The survey is anonymous, and the final reports include geographic and demographic comparisons as well as benchmarking data with similar sized cities. City Council and staff will receive the results in late June or July, and a workshop will be held to discuss how to best utilize the results in planning for the community’s future.
