A film series at the Lynchburg Public Library called “Created Equal” kicks off tonight during Black History Month and runs through early April. Subtitled “America’s Civil Rights Struggle,” it explores the issues of slavery and equality. The series is sponsored by the Dr. Martin Luther King Junior-Lynchburg Community Council, which is appointed by Lynchburg City Council. “Created Equal” debuts tonight at 6 with part 1 of “The Abolitionists,” at the Public Library.
