Lynchburg Police responded to Toppers Wings-N-Things Tuesday shortly before 2:30AM to investigate the report of a burglary. Once officers arrived they found someone had broken into the business and stole an unknown amount of cash. The suspect was caught on surveillance video breaking into the business and driving away in a dark colored Nissan. He was identified as 24-year-old Jerrad Austin Edwards. Officers located him at his home along with some of stolen items from the restaurant. Edwards is charged with breaking and entering and grand larceny.
