A Lynchburg man has been taken into custody for a malicious wounding on Filmore Street. 48-year-old Ambruse William Formson is charged with breaking and entering, malicious wounding, strong arm robbery, and strangulation in connection with an armed robbery and malicious wounding that occurred on Friday. A woman was treated at the hospital for lacerations and injuries to her face after a man attacked her and ran away.
