Beginning Memorial Day, May 25, the Lynchburg Museum at the Old Court House will offer free admission through Labor Day, September 7. City and Museum officials agreed that making the Museum free and accessible to all has several potential benefits. Officials say free admission may also encourage out of town visitors to stay in Lynchburg. The second site in the Lynchburg Museum System, the historic home Point of Honor, will continue to charge an admission fee. Admission fees are one of several revenue streams that help support and maintain the 200 year old property. Additional information about the Lynchburg Museum can be found here.
