lynchburg-museumAs part of First Friday tomorrow, the Lynchburg Museum will be open free of charge from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and will showcase items related to the history of healthcare in the Hill City. Items on display will include historic photographs, cafeteria tokens from Lynchburg General, hospital yearbooks, memorabilia related to Garnett Diuguid’s service in the ambulance corps during World War I and a nurses uniform worn by Mrs. George B. Craddock at Virginia Baptist Hospital. The artifacts will remain on display throughout the weekend. The Museum is open Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
