lynchburg-museumAs part of First Friday tomorrow, the Lynchburg Museum will be open free of charge from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and will showcase items related to the history of healthcare in the Hill City. Items on display will include historic photographs,¬†cafeteria tokens from Lynchburg General, hospital yearbooks, memorabilia related to Garnett Diuguid’s service in the ambulance corps during World War I and a nurses uniform worn by Mrs. George B. Craddock at Virginia Baptist Hospital. The artifacts will remain on display throughout the weekend. The Museum is open Saturday from 10:00 a.m.¬†until 4 p.m. and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
