This Friday, as part of First Friday, the Lynchburg Museum on Court Street will be open free of charge from 5:00 p.m. until 8 p.m. and will feature artifacts highlighting the history of the Lynchburg Police Department. Objects on display will include uniforms from Captain Rick Scalf and Detective Charlie Snow, a bulletproof vest, historic photographs, newspaper clippings, nightsticks, and a mug shot sign. The artifacts will remain on display throughout the weekend.
