From the City of Lynchburg: The Lynchburg Museum System has a few remaining slots for the Discover Lynchburg Summer Camp for Kids to be held June 23-27 for 9 to 12 year olds. The deadline for registration is Thursday, June 19, and the fee for the week-long day camp is $50 per child for non-members and $45 for members. Kids participating in the camps will enjoy exploring the rich history of Lynchburg and the James River! Newly opened at the Lynchburg Museum is the exhibition: Experience the James: Lynchburg’s Pathway to the World. Campers will be among the first to enjoy hands-on programs relating to this exhibit.
