Lynchburg City Council this evening will consider a request to rezone a portion of Timbrook Place to make way for a new apartment complex. The 192-unit complex would be built off Timberlake Road …the project is already supported by the planning commission. The News & Advance reports, the developers agreed to build a short connecting road linking Timbrook Place and Candlewood Court to facilitate traffic flow. But, according to the article, five neighbors opposed the project or raised questions about it during a planning commission hearing last month. Council will hold a second public hearing on the rezoning request tonight. The meeting is scheduled to start at 7:30–Council meetings can be watched online at: www.lynchburgva.gov/ltv
