The Lynchburg Police Department is investigating a series of larcenies from vehicles. They happened at local YMCAs and other gym parking lots on January 28th and February 9th and 10th. The suspect is a black male and is believed to have been driving a 2005 silver Chrysler Town and Country minivan with Washington DC personalized license plates displaying STLBOSS. Police say the suspect will break out a car window and grab purses and bags. He keeps gift cards, glasses, sunglasses, and anything else that does not have person information on it. The bags are typically discarded once he is done looking though them. Anyone with information regarding these incidents or has seen this vehicle is asked to call Detective C.A.
