Lynchburg Police investigate weekend shooting at Fort Avenue 7-11

 Lynchburg Police are investigating a malicious wounding in the parking lot of the 7-11 on Fort Avenue at 2am  Saturday.   When officers arrived on scene, they located one man with a non-life-threatening gunshot injury. He was transported to Lynchburg General Hospital to receive treatment. Officers also located a residence that had been shot during the incident.
