From Lynchburg City Police: On January 8, 2015, the two subjects pictured in the attached photos attempted to steal several hundred dollars’ worth of merchandise from Walmart on Wards Rd. When confronted by a store employee, the suspects handed the property to the employee and walked back into the store. The suspects then went through the aisles and gathered more merchandise into a shopping cart. Using a different exit, the suspects left the store with the new stolen property.The white female suspect appeared to be between the ages of 20-30 years old, with a height of 5’04” to 5’07” and weight between 140 and 200 lbs. She had long red hair that was worn in a ponytail.The black male was approximately 6’00” tall and 200 lbs. He was wearing black-frame eyeglasses and had an earring in his right ear.Anyone who has information regarding this crime or the identity of the suspects, please call Officer H. G.
