Lynchburg Regional Airport is hoping to add more flights as the industry recovers from COVID.   Airport Director Andrew LaGalla told the Morningline that the airport slowly stabilized after its almost complete shutdown March 2020 and is now seeing a spike in leisure travel. American Airlines currently offers five flights a day to Charlotte, and LaGalla says he’s working on a United flight to Dulles:

LaGalla says American will begin offering a sixth flight to Charlotte in January.
