Lynchburg residents will have an opportunity to meet with city planners this week to offer feedback during “Lynchburg is Listening” meetings that focus on updating the zoning code. Two workshops being held on Thursday are designed to allow the public to offer opinions on proposed changes to the ordinance. Officials say the information gathered during the sessions is considered vital in rewriting the ordinance. The first workshop held from 10 a.m. to noon at the city’s public works building. The second that evening from 6 p.m. until 8 at the city’s information technology building.
