A Madison Heights man was killed in a crash in Amherst County early yesterday morning. It happened around 2:30am. State police say 21-year-old Daniel W. Walker, Jr. was headed north on Colony Road when his vehicle ran off the road, hit a tree, and came to rest in a creek. Police say Walker was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene.
