A program about Native American involvement in the Civil War had to be postponed Tuesday due to snow… but the presentation has been reschedule for next Tuesday. The event will highlight the approximately 20,000 Native Americans who fought for both sides; including a Seneca chief who assisted in drafting surrender terms at Appomattox. There will be a Q&A session and exhibit materials. The event is part of Campbell County’s Sesquicentennial Celebration and is planned for April 1 at 7 p.m. at library in Rustburg.
