A Lynchburg man has been indicted on one count of malicious wounding in connection with a shooting at the James Crossing Apartments during the summer. 20 year old, Teron William Slaughter was arrested Aug. 25 and charged in the shooting at Greenfield Drive. The adult victim sustained a gunshot wound that was non life-threatening. According to media outlets, Slaughter also faces one count of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. A jury trial is set for Jan. 23. The victims name was not released.
