Man Accused of Killing Bicyclist Expected to Enter Plea

A Bedford County man accused of killing a bicyclist is expected to enter a plea in that case in October. WSET reports, Michael Wayne Jenkins has been indicted by the grand jury for felony hit and run and assaulting an emergency worker. Authorities say Jenkins hit Sean McQuaid on Route 122 in March. They say he and left the man for dead. Police say later the same night, Jenkins attacked firefighters after calling them to his house for a truck fire.
