A Lynchburg man was hospitalized this weekend after receiving several stab wounds to his chest and stomach area; and another city man is now in custody charged with malicious wounding. 29 year old, Jamel Owen Davis is accused of climbing through a window at a home on Pierce Street, Saturday morning and stabbing 33-year-old Michael Payne multiple times. Payne is recovering in the hospital.
