Man Charge With Stabbing Wife

A Campbell County man has been charged with stabbing his wife. According to the County’s Sheriff’s Office, a motorist in Rustburg found a woman bleeding from multiple stab wounds on the side of the road around 9:30 Wednesday morning; and investigators say her husband, 28 year old, Jerry Harper, has charged with aggravated malicious wounding and two counts of violating a protective order. The woman suffered multiple cuts and stab wounds; she was air lifted from the scene in the 800 block of Red House Road. Harper may face additional charges, including attempted murder.
