From the Amherst County Sheriff’s office: The office responded to the Old Dominion Job Corps in Amherst on 10/31/2015 regarding a sexual assault complaint. The incident, involving two students, occurred onsite between 10/30-10/31 and involved a minor female and Daniel Isaiah Harris, 21, of Hampton, VA. As a result of the investigation, Harris was charged with (2) counts of Forcible Sodomy. He was arrested and taken to the Amherst Adult Detention Center where he is being held on a $5,000 bond. The victim was taken to LGH ER for treatment and released.
