An Appomattox man will spend nearly 16 years in prison for charges related to selling drugs. 32 year old, Tyrone Dillard was arrested in October 2012, after law enforcement officials executed a search warrant at his home and found cocaine, marijuana, scales and $2,600 in cash. The Judge sentenced Dillard early this month to 10 years and six months for possession of drugs with the intent to sell. Dillard also received five years in prison for a probation violation. According to the Times Virginian, his most recent possession with intent to sell conviction was his fourth.
