The man accused of killing his estranged wife at an Appomattox gas station earlier this year has been indicted by a grand jury. 69 year old Aubrey Evans, III is charged with the first degree murder of 45 year old Laura Evans. Investigators say on January 31st, he shot Laura at the Marathon gas station. He was arrested a few days later in Washington County, near Bristol. A trial date for Evans will be set in September.
