Man injured after shooting in City of Lynchburg

The Lynchburg Police Department responded to the Lynchburg General Hospital Emergency Room Monday in reference to a Malicious Wounding. Authorities say the victim, 30-year-old Jeremy Hubbard of Lynchburg, told investigators that he had been shot in the area of 10th Street and Floyd Street. Hubbard was treated for non-life threatening injuries. The incident is still under investigation, and the police ask for anyone with information pertaining to this case to come forward.
