Man Is Dead After Girlfriend Mistakes Him For Intruder

A Moneta woman says she shot and killed her boyfriend by accident. The woman told Franklin County authorities, that she shot 37 year old, Herbert Aragon, Jr., after he returned early and unannounced from a business trip. Authorities say she mistook him an intruder. Medial outlets report, the woman told deputies she had just given her toddler a bath and noticed that the front door, which she had locked, was open. She got her handgun and fired after being startled. Aragon was pronounced dead at the scene.
