An Amherst man will serve time in jail for his part in the burglaries of three churches last fall. 19 year old, Jaquan Harris pleaded guilty in April to a felony count of grand larceny, two counts of burglary, one count of property damage and one count of petit larceny; and will serve a year and three months. The trial for co-defendant, was continued on Monday; Lonnie Rose faces two counts of grand larceny, two counts of burglary and one count of property damage more than $1,000.
