From the Amherst County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the larceny of (2) two 40 inch flat screen TV’s from Wal-Mart in Madison Heights. On May 12th shortly before 2:00 a.m. a single white male entered Wal-Mart on South Amherst Highway and took (2) two TV’s valued at $748. This male is described as being between 20 and 30 years of age, approximately six feet tall, 170’ to 190’, wearing black pants and a gray striped hoody jacket. He left the area in a silver late model Hyundai sedan driven by a black male and occupied by another passenger. This individual is also suspected in similar thefts at the Bedford and Lynchburg (Wards Road) Walmart’s. Anyone that has any information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-798-5900. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information regarding this crime. All information is totally confidential.
