The felony malicious wounding case of a Lynchburg man is heading to a grand jury. 29 year old, Jamel Owen Davis, is accused of climbing through a window and stabbed Michael Payne several times. Bond was revoked last week for violating conditions of a curfew; Davis was also convicted at a hearing last week of public drunkenness; and at a preliminary hearing the judge certified the felony charge. The case goes before the grand jury on July 7.
