U.S. Sen. Mark Warner, D-Va., and Republican challenger Ed Gillespie were both out in force Saturday campaigning through the Lynchburg area. Warner, a former governor seeking a second term in the Senate, organized a roundtable discussion with local businesswomen and made a stop at the Campbell County Heritage Festival. Warner highlighted his proposals to promote equity crowdfunding as a tool for small businesses, offer people more options for repaying student debt and streamline workforce training programs.
