Campbell County man charged with robbing Burley’s Market on Wards Road in July was sentenced on Thursday. 21 year old, Joshua Witt pleaded guilty in September to one count each of statutory burglary, grand larceny and wearing a mask in public. Prosecutors say Witt and accomplice Kenneth Snell Jr. used a cinderblock to break through the glass door, covered their faces with bandanas while in the store and took more than $400 worth of beer and cigarettes. The Judge sentenced Witt to 10 years, suspending all but three years and credited Witt for time already served. Snell pleaded guilty to the same charges in October and set for sentencing on Feb. 5.
