RICHMOND, Va. (AP) _ Gov. Terry McAuliffe is recognizing the work for those helping Virginians with their applications for health care. McAuliffe says more than 4,000 Virginians received help with their applications during the first two weeks of the open enrollment period. Officials say thousands more also have visited the state’s Cover Virginia website to get information about health coverage. McAuliffe praised the work of enrollment assisters during a visit to the Legal Aid Society of Roanoke Valley on Monday. During the first enrollment session, about 216,000 Virginians picked health plans in the new insurance marketplace. McAuliffe has set a goal to enroll up to 160,000 Virginians during the current sign-up period that runs through Feb. 15.
