City officials say the end date for the Midtown Connector project in Lynchburg — which currently effects parts of Langhorne, Kemper Street and 12th Street — has been pushed back another year due to months of bad weather. On Thursday, the city held a public meeting to update the community on the construction progress. The project includes, road widenings, new utility infrastructure and streetscape upgrades. Sources say the Project manager says crews were working hard to make up for lost time, but 2015 now is a more realistic end date.
