A Campbell County mother joins two others charged with malicious wounding and child abuse after her two children were tattooed and attempts were then made to remove the tattoos. 35-year-old Melissa Delp and her boyfriend, 32 year old, Daniel Janney, were charged last week. Investigators say Delp did nothing to stop Janney, from attempting to remove the tattoos by burning the girls with a hot razor blade. Investigators say the girls were in the care of family friend 20 year old, Alexander Edwards on Dec. 22 when Edwards allegedly tattooed them without their consent or the consent of their parents. In addition to the other charges, Edwards, also is charged with abduction.
