GavelCharges have been certified against the driver accused of hitting and killing an 11-year-old Madison Heights girl. Dennis Allen is charged with driving as a habitual offender, driving on a suspended license that resulted in a death, and reckless driving. In August, Kamryn Johnson was riding her bike along Galts Mill Road when she was hit and killed. According to media outlets, Allen’s jury trial is set for March 20; but is expected back in court on January 3 for two new charges.
