Sources say a man was robbed at gunpoint last night in Lynchburg. According to police, the victim was approached by two men near the corner of Chambers and Hunt Streets at about 8:45 Thursday evening. Media outlets report one of the suspects brandished a handgun, demanded money and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. Authorities say the victim and neighbors reported hearing gunshots after the mugging, but no one was injured. The investigation is ongoing.
