A recent murder in Lynchburg has shed light on the issue of gun violence. Community leaders gathered on Thursday morning to discussing ways to end the culture of violence among the city’s young people. James Coleman of Churches United for Service tells WDBJ-7, that the group will organize around some critical areas. Community leaders say they plan to meet next month to identify two to three specific issues and come up with solutions to address those concerns. There after, the group plans to meet once a month and identify areas they can address collectively.
